Did my first heavy workout of 2025 today, including a set of rack pulls at 335 pounds.
Of course, I know the cardinal rule of blogging about such gym-related stuff: Pictures or it didn't happen. So here goes...
My goal this year is to join the 1,000-Pound Club, referring to the total of a person's one-rep max lifts across the squat, bench, and deadlift.
To that end, I'm currently pulling twice a week, using rack pulls to safely train heavier weights. On my other pulling day, I deadlift from the floor with somewhat lower poundage and more reps.
Working well for me so far. Will see how it goes from here. 😊
